Community rules
- Protect your privacy. Never post Social Security numbers, CHAMPVA member numbers, dates of birth, claim numbers, photos of cards, EOBs, or bills, or anyone's diagnosis. Moderators will remove them.
- Not official VA. This community isn't run by or affiliated with VA. Answers come from other members and may be wrong. Check the official source and confirm with CHAMPVA (800-733-8387).
- No medical, legal, or insurance advice. Share experiences, not diagnoses or legal opinions.
- No paid claim help or solicitation. No offers to prepare or file claims for a fee, no "consultants," no selling. Point people to free accredited VSOs.
- Be kind. No harassment, politics, or personal attacks. Everyone here is dealing with something hard.
- Cite when you can. Link to the VA page or Guidebook section that supports what you say.
- No spam, ads, or affiliate links.
